Andalucía is a paradise for golf lovers with over 100 golf courses and an exceptional climate, sun and warm weather all year round. Mijas is part of it and well known as one of the famous Spanish white towns. It is easily accessible from the Malaga airport. The two outstanding Mijas golf courses Los Olivas & Los Lagos, designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. are one of the best in Spain.
Directions: From Málaga - Airport:
Take the national highway A-7 along the coast and when you arrive Fuengirola, by passing "El Corte Ingles" C.C, take the exit Fuengirola/Coín NO. 208B (just after an overhead pedestrian bridge with the words "Bienvenido a Las Lagunas"); once you reach the roundabout, follow the road to Coín -MA 7053- direction to the mountains. You will get to a big roundabout; go straight on direction to Entrerríos/Alhaurín keeping on the same road -MA 7053-. The signs indicating "Hotel Byblos" can be followed. Ignore any sign for Mijas pueblo (Mijas Village).

Hotel Tamisa Golf
Luxurious golf hotel on the Costa del Sol. Located in the hills above Fuengirola with easy access to the village of Mijas and the coastal resort of Fuengirola. The Tamisa is a small luxury establishment and magnificent views of the golf course, a spacious lounge and conference rooms. All rooms have all the facilities you need for a comfortable stay including Bang & Olufsen entertainment equipment and free WiFi throughout the hotel and public areas.
Hotel Tamisa Golf is superbly located in Mijas-Costa, just 5 minutes from Fuengirola town centre and beach, adjacent to one of the best golf courses on the Costa del Sol, Mijas Golf. The renowned “white village” of Mijas is only a 15 minute drive from the hotel. The exclusive and cosy Hotel extends over subtropical gardens overlooking Mijas golf courses. Built on two floors, the hotel has the appearance of a private villa. All bedrooms have private terraces and wonderful views of the golf course.
Mijas Golf Courses
Los Lagos was the first of the two courses, built in 1976, while Los Olivos was created a few years later, in 1984. Both courses were originally designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. following his philosophy of “Difficult Par, Easy Bogey”, with very little rough, much water and fairly flat land.
Los Lagos has an area of 52 hectares defined by its wide fairways lined with numerous lakes, hence the course name. In addition, the 9 lakes showed on the course turn the water into natural obstacles in 11 of the 18 holes. At the same time, the course presents a lot of bunkers and a great variety of large size trees, located to defend the wide flat greens.
Los Olivos stands out because of its smaller greens with more slope, well defended by bunkers. Al the same time, the big number of Olive trees strategically located around the fairways, will require a more accurate and straight drive from the player.

Dinner at 7 pm in the Hotel.
March 28th Wednesday: Practice round on Los Olivos Golf Course from 10 am onwards. Welcome Dinner at 7 pm in the Hotel.
Excursion for None Golfer: Marbella
March 29th Thursday: Practice round on Los Lagos Golf Course from 10 am onwards. Dinner at 8 pm in the Hotel.
Excursion for None Golfer: Mijas 5 to 7:30 pm
March 30th Friday: First competition round on Los Olivos Golf Course from 09 am onwards.
Dinner at 7 pm in the Hotel.
Excursion for None Golfer: Antequera
March 31st Saturday: Second competition round on Los Lagos Golf Course from 09 am onwards.
Prize giving Gala Dinner at 7.30 pm
April 1st Sunday: departure until 12 am.

and cover the unlikely event that the Championship is cancelled due to circumstances
beyond the control of the Organization Committee.
Cancellation and Amendments
A cancellation made before the 30. November 2017 will be fully refundable minus € 100 service charge.
If you cancel your booking after 30. November 2017 no refund will be paid
All cancellations need to be in writing.
The Organizer reserve the right to make price changes to reflect cost increases that are beyond our control including but not limited to VAT increases.
